Duality
Port Alberni was once two neighbouring "Twin Cities" that amalgamated in 1967. As a result, there are two historic downtowns, two waterfronts, a North Port and a South Port. Duality gave way to unity, sharing and creating something new together.
Creativity
A community of builders, makers, tradespeople, manufacturers, crafters, artists, farmers and innovators. Home to community-builders who volunteer, raise funds for charities and create connections with new residents.
