North Island College (NIC)
The Roger Street campus opened in 1994, providing nursing, early childhood care and education, university studies courses and more. In 2012, NIC opened the Roger Street Bistro, home to NIC’s culinary programs. NIC's Tebo Vocational Centre on Tebo Avenue provides shop spaces for trades training students. NIC works closely with community organizations, Indigenous communities and employers to offer unique educational and training opportunities to support local learners and to meet regional skills training needs.
Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences
Home of the International Disability Management Standards Council. The University provides study and research focusing on the conditions and means through which the health and safety, work capacity and well-being of people in the workplace are enhanced, maintained, supported or diminished. An interdisciplinary approach is applied to the fields of disability management, occupational health and safety, wellness promotion, human resources management, and vocational rehabilitation, among others.
Windsong College of Healing Arts
The Port Alberni campus offers the CHHSP Diploma and is recognized by the Shiatsu Therapy Association of BC and the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada.
