Our Purpose
What is Choose Port Alberni?
ChoosePortAlberni was created by the City of Port Alberni's Economic Development department to:
- Share information about investing and doing business in Port Alberni
- Attract business-minded change-makers to the community
The community has been changing, welcoming new residents, new businesses, new partnerships and new leaders, resulting in a new investment ecosystem.
In 2019 the City enlisted the help of Community Futures to start work on an investment-friendly website for people who wanted to know more about Port Alberni's assets, developments, housing, outdoor lifestyle, and opportunities.
